RICARDO BARBOSA
Barbosa began his conducting studies in 1991 with conductor Ligia Amadio and was her assistant in Coral Arco Íris between 1992 and 19999, with whom he developed a vast repertoire. Barbosa took many courses in choir conducting with many advisors, amongst them, conductors J.W. Faustini, Nestor Zartoff ( Argentina) and Mary Goetse ( USA).

In 2000, Barbosa was received the best conductor award in the project "Mapa Cultural Paulista" . This award was given by Cultural Department of São Paulo State. Prof. Mr. Marcos Júlio Sergl was his advisor at the Music University "Tom Jobim", in the course of choir conducting.

In 2001/2003, Prof. Mr. Maestro Marco Antônio da Silva Ramos was his advisor in the choir conduction specialization course at Arts and Communication School of University of São Paulo ( ECA/USP). Currently, Prof. Lenice Priole is his advisor in the course of vocal technique and opera singing.
